We help developers select and adapt forms, negotiate with landowners and their counsel, and address requirements that may arise when a project is financed or sold.

Agreements That Reflect the Project

The appropriate terms of each land agreement depend on how the project will use the property subject to that agreement. Solar leases, wind leases, BESS leases, and transmission and access easements require different grants of right and payment provisions, and need to account for the applicable construction activities and parties that will use them.

We work with development and land teams to understand those needs and reflect them in writing. As plans change, we help determine whether existing rights are sufficient and what additional agreements or amendments are needed.
