Eugene represents renewable energy project developers, owners, and operators in real estate matters across the project lifecycle. He has focused on renewable energy projects since 2013.
He has led and supported lease acquisitions covering more than 2 million acres, and has represented clients in the financing of over $13 billion of utility-scale renewable energy projects.
Prior to founding Nacelle, Eugene was in-house counsel at a renewable energy project developer. Earlier in his career, he represented senior secured lenders in commercial real estate financing transactions, giving him a lender-side perspective on risk, diligence, and deal structure.
Eugene received his B.S. from Cornell University and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. He is a member of the New York State Bar, the Virginia State Bar, and the Bar of Maryland.
